TidyMemo is a free, open-source desktop application for maintaining personal photo and video collections. Born from a complete transformation of Exif Renamer, it now goes far beyond file renaming: its tools help you organize, reduce, convert, and revisit your memories without handing your media to an online service.
Organize photos
TidyMemo can rename and arrange images using the photo-taken date, file dates, or image metadata. It supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, HEIC, and HEIF files. New names and folders are previewed before anything changes, duplicate names are disambiguated automatically, and existing files are never overwritten.
Process videos
The FFmpeg-powered video toolkit can batch-compress, speed up, or convert videos, export them as GIFs, or combine speed-up and GIF export. Jobs run in sequence while the original files remain untouched.
Create slideshows with SlideTune
SlideTune turns a sequence of images into an MP4 video. You can reorder photos, choose the resolution and background treatment, add a border, shadow, or soundtrack, and tune the export quality.
TidyMemo runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Download the latest build from GitHub Releases.
